First time here! Food was good! We will have to go back for ice cream. Good & very affordable. Nice option for anyone looking for something to eat in area after 9pm. CASH ONLY in case you are like me & have been up for 22 hours straight & missed where it’s clearly posted 😭😎

The best chocolate peanut butter soft ice cream BUT it's not always available. The flavor of the week changes. So you must get it when you see it on their signage. Today was the day.

Good ice cream and nice outdoor eating areas on patios out back. As a local I can say that this place is always busy when open. However, part of that may be the extremely slow service holding people up. Definitely not the quickest place to grab a cone or bite to eat, but is worth a try if you're not in a hurry.

Very classic roadside drive-in. Service was very friendly. Food was good, had a fat boy, onion rings,Texas taters and a strawberry shake. Will be back at night to see the neon lit up.

Been comming here for the better part of 14 years. Have not once had a bad experience. The food is fantastic great selection. Don't forget about the fact that it's a traditional drive in. A must if in the area!

Best place to eat at. The home of the Fat Boy, great BBQ sandwich milkshakes, Sundaes, oyster sandwiches FF, Onions Rings, great Brosted chicken

Excellent ice cream. The have sprinkles and chocolate dip for the cones. Excellent sundaes, I highly recommend the CMP. They have a drive in, where you order from the sign, like the old fashioned places. It's a fun atmosphere.

1st time there. I had the chocolate marshmallow peanut sundae and my husband had the dusty road sundae. You can walk up or stay in your car and a carhop will bring your order. They have food to eat and all kinds of ice cream.

Absolutely the best chicken around!! Great shakes and smoothies! I’ve loved this place since I’ve been a lil girl. I’m 36 now and it’s still one of my favorite places.

Nice drive in for food. A little too many onions for one the subs though. I'm pretty sure a had a whole onion on my fat boy sub. Good ice cream too!

I attended a car show here. This place is a favorite of many people. Good food and icecream.

Friendly, fast, placed order ahead for pickup (everything was correct), ready at the correct time (even though I was a little late), crab cakes are not high quality but they're good for a fast food place and a nice size (med. smallish), sometimes you have to wait a bit for your order if you place it when you get there and it can be busy at times, but exercise a little patience and enjoy some time to slow down. We love the French Poodle sandwich (hotdog with beef BBQ), Fatboy sandwich (double cheeseburger with house sauce [like a tartar sauce, colored pink for fun]), all their subs come bagged with a generous amount of lettuce and onions. They are ALWAYS willing to customize our orders, even serving with no bun (no discount of course). Try the Texas taters: seasoned large steak fries, or the onion rings. Their fries come unsalted. Sundaes and ice cream is good, especially soft serve flavors. Ask if they have raspberry!

Had a great time and good food as always. An opportunity to share with my grandsons what things were like 70 years ago.

The Tropical Treat is like a trip back in time. Classic drive-up style service with tasty flavored soft serve. The orange and vanilla mix in a sugar cone was a good choice! I would definitely stop by for a tasty treat again when we are visiting PA.

me and my boyfriend ordered our food and about an hour and a half of waiting later we asked one of the waitresses when our food will be ready and she proceeded to tell us that we would have to wait about another 10 minutes. Half an hour passed and we decided to leave because waiting over two hours for a burger and chicken strips is pretty ridiculous. the service is VERY slow for being considered a “fast” food place.

Favorite place to go for drive 🚗 in and order food and they bring it to your 🚗 or they also have tables you order at the window and go sit down and they will bring it to you. Never had anything bad. Definitely recommend

Love to stop in during the summer! This would always be a tradition to go with our grandparents on the last day of school every year when we were growing up!

Used to be good but service is now pretty bad. Long waits and twice in a row Peanutbutter advertised as flavor of the week. Both times they said the machine was broke. Owners should have the sign. Changed wont be wasting my time stopping for family anymore.

When visiting in-laws we always stop at Crabbs Tropical Treat. We all love the Fat Boy sandwich.
